Job Description

MISSION AND OBJECTIVESApplication and user supportMAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Troubleshoot trade capture, booking, settlements, and trade breaks issues and provide timely resolution
· Provide level 1 and 2 support for applications, on-site· Effectively escalate to development teams for level 3 support· Create and maintain documentation· Must be able to multitask and take ownership on multiple items until resolution· Facilitate proper communication to the business users and clients· Work on a shift rotation using a follow-the-sun support model, handing off Mumbai and receiving hand-offs from Paris· Available on-call for after-hours support on a rotational basis· Inbox monitoring and batch operations· Answer client calls and requests· Participate in incident management follow ups and resolutions· Answer external client calls, provide technical and functional support to all in-house applicationsREQUIREMENTSTRAINING AND OCCUPATIONAL EXPERIENCE Ø Previous experience (5-10 years) in an application support environmentØ Trade Support or Finance experienceESSENTIAL SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTSØ Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems or related fieldØ Strong understanding of the trade processØ Strong UNIX scripting / developmentØ Strong SQL skillsØ Strong background using Microsoft products (Specifically Excel & Outlook)Ø FTP, SFTP, FTPS, CFT file transfer setup knowledge
