Responsibilities:A French Translator will be responsible for providing timely and accurate translation services for our corporate communications, HR materials, training documents and videos, and other internal and external communication projects, as required.
  • Translate internal company documents, contracts, manuals, training materials from English to Quebecois French; translate online and video media by providing subtitles
  • Translate ad-hoc requests from other departments
  • Update current French content in existing documents
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of translations as well as their compliance with Quebecs language laws.
  • Ensure that deliverables meet the highest quality standards
Knowledge and Skills Required:
  • Perfectly fluent in Quebecois French and English (reading, writing, and speaking)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Efficient and very detail-oriented, demonstrating initiative, flexibility, and great accuracy
  • Ability to adapt quickly, work independently and multi-task
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
