  • Ensure best practices in configuration management, development cycle and security are being followed.
  • Work closely with software engineering teams to support them in the process of using the development lifecycle tool chain and platforms.
  • Assist software engineering teams in upgrading their current tools and technologies to the DevOps COE recommendations.
  • Support software engineering teams in their use of DevOps tools and processes to improve their efficiency.
  • Continuously improve our DevOps tools and processes.
  • Participate actively in the companys DevOps Community of Practice.
  • Develop technical initiatives to make software engineering teams more effective.
  • Participate in R&D initiatives on our technical solutions in connection with our tools, platforms and processes.
QualificationsWhat you bring to the table:
  • Undergraduate degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of IT experience
  • Excellent knowledge of DevOps technologies: Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Nexus/Nexus IQ, Maven
  • Excellent knowledge of software engineering tools: GitHub, Jira, Confluence,
  • Very good extended knowledge of different technologies such as: Tomcat, JBoss, Websphere, VM Ware, Ubuntu Linux, etc.
  • Very good knowledge of scripting: Groovy, Python, Ansible, Bash, YAML, Perl
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies: AWS and Azure
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools: Ansible, Terraform
  • Experience with monitoring and alert technologies: Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, Splunk
  • Knowledge in the integration of test automation frameworks: Selenium, Cucumber, JMeter
  • Good knowledge of Java and Java JEE development environments
  • Good knowledge of Agile development environment (SCRUM and Kanban)
  • Experience of build processes and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
  • Knowledge of the following technologies is an asset: Twistlock, Veracode, SonarQube, SysDig, SpringBoot, Harshicorp Vault
  • Leadership skills

  • Versatile and abreast of new technologies
  • Curious, self-taught and active in DevOps communities
  • Initiative and ability to work under pressure
