Job Description

Schneider Electric Canada has an opportunity for a Digital Power Services Sales whose mission is to accelerate the power digitalization of our customers through software and services.The Digital Power Services Manager is a highly visible leadership role that will liaise with Country Business Units, Functions, National Sales and Global Services and Digital Energy Commercial teams. This role is key in enabling the digital transformation of our customer’s power distribution.What will you doWe are looking for a dynamic individual to build and execute the growth strategic plan for our growing Digital Power Services business in Canada. The plan will be shared and aligned with the core Services and Digital Power Business.The Digital Power Services Manager is focused on leading an innovative way to grow our Digital Power Services offers with the following priorities:

  • Define, prioritize, and lead the execution of business development plan & initiatives
  • Ensure the deployment & adoption of Digital Power Services offers
  • Organize and deliver training locally
  • Platforming of End Users and existing digital power installed base to unlock the growth potential
  • Coordinate/close the loop between all streams
  • Support marketing in the launch of Digital Power Services offers
  • Bring clear visibility on performance tracking, holding our organization accountable
  • Manage Digital Power Services Pipeline
  • Reconciliate YTD Performance, build and drive action plans accordingly
Offer Strategy & Marketing
  • Ensure the platforming and coverage campaign with support from Sales Director and Marketing Director to ensure maximum coverage of key segments and key customer potential
  • Support the Annual Marketing & Sales Plan (AMSP) process to deploy the key Digital Power Services offer initiatives per Business Units, then by market segment with business potential. Define the AMSP plan, execute and monitor the success of the key initiatives via the AMSP dashboard on a quarterly basis with Services Commercial team.
  • Participate and identify relevant Install Base Traceability plan with execution to reach traceability knowledge targets and generate business opportunities for sales teams
Business Development and Sales Management
  • Manage the order performance to achieve expected growth with different go to market
  • Develop account profiles, set up a customer coverage to execute the sales plan
  • Work closely with regional Services Teams & Regional Digital Power Sales to grow business pipeline and commercial successes.
  • Develop and grow key relationships with strategic customers and partners.
  • Work closely with the Key Account Managers to maximize business opportunities.
  • Lead pipeline review through Salesforce dashboards.
What qualifications will make you successful
  • Degree in Engineering aligned with Power Distribution or Communication networks–Electrical, Electronics & software
  • Minimum 5 years technical sales experience and leadership experience
  • Experience in building strategic, tactical and operational plans (in a corporate function or in a country operation)
  • Demonstrate good understanding of data monetization, digitization, and its business applications
  • Ability to influence, convince, and lead change
  • Consultative sales experience and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to foster cooperation and build a sustainable and reliable relationship with the customer
  • Capable to work in matrix organization models with strong business pressure
  • Previous experience in people management (asset)
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • For Quebec-based candidates, functional French is required.
