However, please know that we always put ourselves in the candidates shoes to ensure they have the best possible experience.We look forward to meeting you!Your RoleWe are looking for dynamic consultants to grow our engineering team in Montreal. Your experience, knowledge, and commitment will help us to face our clients challenges.You will be supporting different projects through your expertise as an EWIS Specialist.Responsabilities:

• Manage and coordinate with Program and internal stakeholders to define wiring batches strategies and scope
• Be responsible of wiring configuration management
• Attend technical integration meetings for system design changes and assess wiring impacts
• Manage and coordinate suppliers deliverables
• Develop electrical wiring interconnect system (EWIS), capable of resolving technical issues relating to EWIS
• Support team members with EWIS activities which may include: Draft Electrical System Schematics, parts qualification, 3D design review, harnesses release
• Provide technical assistance to engineering staff and contribute to completion of project milestones
• Apply knowledge to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate or advanced scope and complexity, using a combination of judgment with defined practices and procedures

As our ideal candidate:

• You have an Engineering Bachelor in a related field: Avionics and or Electrical specialization is an asset
• You have a minimum of 8 years of aerospace experience in EWIS and/or Avionic components.
• You have knowledge of wiring diagrams, systems, and EMI/EMC requirements.
• You are familiar with Airbus Canada CATIA/ENOVIA systems or have worked in similar environment
• You are familiar with EWIS FAR regulations
• You have an excellent verbal and written communication skills. Computer skills (PC/MS Office) are also required
• You have a can-do attitude and leadership skills
• You must be well-organized and able to balance multiple tasks, detail oriented, possess good judgment, and exercise initiative
• EWIS and/or Avionic MRB approval knowledge and understanding is an asset.
