This job is full-time permanent.You will be required to interact with several partners within the organization. You will have to demonstrate an ability to develop solutions to problems encountered while having a global vision on all operations related to this position.Your challenges:Prepare account and bank reconciliations on a daily or monthly basis in a timely manner. Provide support for month-end closing procedures and, when required, participate in internal and external audits and the preparation of the annual SG&A budget.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Perform required monthly journal entries for SG&A and Banks;
  • Actively participate in month-end processes and reports;
  • Provide analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts;
  • Reconcile bank accounts on a daily basis (80+ accounts and multi-currency);
  • Ensure SOX compliance of the processes performed
  • Provide support and documentation to the auditors in relation to the control processes used;
  • Participate in the preparation of the annual SG&A budget;
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and assistance.
Your Team :As a member of the Corporate Accounting group, you will report to the supervisor. You will be part of a dynamic team known for its sense of initiative and team spirit.Your profile:
  • Bachelors degree in accounting or finance or DEC in accounting;
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a large company;
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel;
  • Knowledge of the SAP system, an asset;
  • Autonomy, flexibility, thoroughness, attention to detail and priority management are essential qualities.

  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in French and English;
  • Ability to work in a team, to collaborate and communicate with multiple departments and levels of the organization
  • Strong planning skills
  • Ability to work in a structured manner, respecting procedures and deadlines
  • Ability to work in a telecommuting environment with digitized documents
  • Good adaptability
  • Good analytical skills
