  • Following and implementing the directives of the IT Technicolor support manager of Canada.
  • Assisting in the maintenance and monitoring of critical server infrastructure, including primarily Windows Server and Desktop and some Linux based systems.
  • The installation and maintenance of storage servers (Dell EMC, Avid)
  • The installation and maintenance of Virtual platforms (VMWare).
  • The Installation and maintenance of LAN based on Brocade or Juniper solutions.
  • Documenting changes to environment and processes.
  • Providing support where necessary in the following areas:
  • Office 365.
  • Linux & Windows Desktop and servers.
  • Wi-Fi connectivity.
  • DCC applications
  • Laptop support
  • Remote user support
  • Data center support
  • Collaborate with other members of Technology team in Montreal and Technicolor teams across the globe.
QualificationsTechnical skills:
  • 4-7 years of experience supporting a heterogeneous (Windows and Linux) server and desktop environment.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Office/O365 management and support.
  • Experience with Windows 10, Windows Server 2008 R2, 2010, 2016
  • Some experience with Centos/Redhat or other Linux distributions
  • Knowledge of SCCM
  • A Familiarity of VFX/media production environments would be a plus
  • Knowledge of switching networks & associated protocols
  • Understanding of NAS, FC, DAS, SAN.
  • Knowledge of Bash and/or Python would be a plus
  • Knowledge of Netbackup
  • Previous experience with “hands-on” tasks at a datacenter
