Job Description

The Ideal CandidateReporting to the web operation specialist, the candidate will be responsible for French translations and website merchandising on Journeys Canada website and will support merchandising activities for Little Burgundy website.How You Will Make an Impact

  • Responsible of French translations of product descriptions of all seasonal products for Journeys.ca.
  • Responsible of French translations of copy for website banners, newsletters and any other digital marketing push for Journeys.ca.
  • Ensure merchandising of products on Journeys.ca.
  • Support the Journeys eCommerce team for any request related to the French version of the website.
  • Responsible of writing and uploading French keywords and metatags for Journeys.ca.
  • Manage freelance translator workflow if needed.
  • Optimize French search terms on Journeys.ca.
  • Support Little Burgundy eCommerce team for internal eCommerce photo-shoot.
  • Support Little Burgundy eCommerce team for merchandising at the beginning of every seasons.
Experience and Skills Youll Need to Have
  • Excellent English communication skills both written and spoken
  • Bachelors degree in translation, communication is considered an asset
  • French redaction experience for website or blog is considered an asset
  • 1 years experience in digital marketing or translations
  • Passionate digital marketer
  • Flexible and able to work with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Well organized and extremely detail-oriented
  • Team player who works well with others
  • Proficient in Excel with strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics is considered an asset
