If you are excited about solving game-changing challenges, cutting edge technologies and pushing the boundaries of entertainment, we invite you to join our journey and help us create the unknown.Job DescriptionUbisoft IT is currently looking for a Linux DevOps Specialist to join the Game Services team which is composed of cross-functional experts that work very closely with the Productions Online programmers to ensure ease of operability and long-term stability of games. We build tools and products that automate and work with infrastructure so that developers can focus on their areas of expertise rather than needing to learn the nuances of infrastructure development. We focus on efficient pipelines from code to production including automation.As a Linux DevOps Specialist, you will be part of an agile squad that supports one or more Game Production teams. You will have a chance to be part of the overall team that has the mission to ensure the best player experience possible while working in a fast-paced and challenging environment, setting up and managing various Linux servers and tools. You will also have to work with the Games Production Online teams, creating solutions to overcome obstacles, and providing value to Ubisoft as a whole. Finally, you will have the opportunity to work with many technologies with the aim to push Ubisoft forward and challenge the industry.Responsibilities

  • Perform daily operations of Linux and some Windows operating systems which includes tasks such as installations, maintenance, upgrades of servers, and system & application patching;
  • Support production environments leveraging Cloud solutions as well as develop tools and services for those solutions;
  • Work with DevOps best practices and implement CI/CD pipelines;
  • Implement automation of recurrent tasks through scripting;
  • Monitor system events to ensure health, maximum system availability, and service quality;
  • Maintain documentation regarding configurations, operations, and troubleshooting procedures;
  • Participate in post-mortem and root cause analysis;
  • Participate in the evaluation of new requirements, technical designs, the definition of standards, guidelines, best practices, and metrics as directed;
  • Answer users queries and service requests.
Must be available to work on-call on a rotational basis.Qualifications
  • Expertise in Linux operating systems such as CentOs;
  • Excellent knowledge of automation, scripting, and orchestration tools such as Terraform, Chef, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, GoLang, Python, and Bash;
  • Excellent knowledge of DevOps philosophy and CI/CD pipelines;
  • Knowledge of monitoring technologies such as ELK, Prometheus, Kibana, and Grafana;
  • Knowledge of AWS cloud services;
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Mysql, and Postgres.
