Send us your resume and join a people-centric company with a reputation of excellence.Job DescriptionWe are currently looking for a Financial Analyst to complete our mergers & acquisitions and financial analysis team. As such, you will have to contribute to the success of UAPs business opportunities by producing financial analysis based on the economic viability of business plans for corporate and associate stores as well as business acquisitions. Are you recognized for the quality and accuracy of your analysis, your ability to summarize and good priority management In addition, do you have strong communication skills in French and English If so, we want to meet you!You will have to:

  • Participate in the M&A complete M&A process
    • Assess the enterprise value of our associate stores as well as those of competitors;
    • Obtain the necessary documentation to proceed with the transactions, review its accuracy and ensure follow-up;
    • Perform financial forecasts, analysis and review of documentation, business plans for associate and corporate stores for recommendation purposes;
    • Validate with internal and external stakeholders the various assumptions underlying the projects;
    • Negotiate transaction parameters;
    • Present and oversee executive approval process;
    • Assist the due diligence process;
    • Participate in the Legal documentation preparation;
    • Organise funds transfer logistics;
    • Ensure that performance meets business case and help track results.
  • Maintain analysis tools and improve modeling on Excel as well as integration with other platforms.
  • Validate the choice of financing for the transactions of the associate stores and ensure the financial viability of the project.
  • Calculate, determine, and analyze the financial and operational parameters to judge the profitability of various corporate projects.
  • Present and align projects with the accounting department and ensure their support.
QualificationsTo join our team, you need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration;
  • Recognized accounting designation;
  • 5 years of relevant experience;
  • Knowledge of MS Office (thorough knowledge of Excel);
  • Good knowledge of the following financial concepts: profitability, financing, net present value, Discounted cash flow;
  • Knowledge of the distribution environment (asset);
  • Bilingual in French and English (oral and written).
