TDs Climate Action Plan, announced in November 2020, aims for net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. Meeting this goal involves executing initiatives focused on sustainable finance, greenhouse gas emissions reduction, identifying climate issues and solutions in carbon intensive sectors, and developing a TD perspective on the transition to the low carbon economy. This is a high priority commitment for the Bank, with engagement from executives across the enterprise.Job DescriptionThe Manager, Enterprise Sustainable Finance, reporting to the AVP of Enterprise Sustainable Finance, will act as a subject matter expert to support the growth of financial products and services that deliver environmental and social benefits alongside business growth. The Manager will work across the enterprise, engaging with business segments and corporate functions to support solutions that deliver on TDs ESG targets and commitments.Enterprise Sustainable Finance Programs: Support the development and research needed to create enterprise-wide sustainable finance programs and ESG initiatives. Provide ongoing advisory to businesses and corporate teams to ensure sustainable finance initiatives are progressing in accordance with TDs ESG Strategy and targets.Sustainable Finance Products & ESG Initiatives: Engage with different lines of businesses across TD during the development of sustainable finance products and ESG initiatives. Assist the businesses and corporate teams with identifying challenges experienced with such initiatives and identify ways these barriers can be removed.Sustainable Finance Enablement: Support the development and delivery of presentations to management, investors or broader audiences, including the Sustainable Finance Executive Council and other ESG forums as required.Job Requirements

  • Undergraduate and/or graduate degree in environmental science, engineering, or business.
  • Experience in finance and/or sustainable finance a strong asset
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and ability to thrive in fast moving and ambiguous
environments
  • Ability to work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, inspiring trust and achieving
results by working with others.
  • Organizational awareness, resourcefulness and demonstrated relationship building skills -
understanding of whom to engage in order to identify solutions and resolve issues
  • Excellent multi-tasking, organizational and time management abilities; able to prioritize,
managing competing priorities and escalate issues effectively
  • Effective communication skills (including written and verbal) with all levels and across the
enterprise and an ability to translate complex ideas into digestible content and presentations
  • Exceptional power-point/presentation skills and capability to synthesize key information for
senior level consumption
  • Ability to innovate and think outside the box to identify solutions that can scale
