Job Description

Posting Description:Aon is looking for an Accont Executive.As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting our Personal Lines team within the Commercial Risk division in Montreal, QC.Your impact as an Account ExecutiveJob Responsibilities:

  • Provides insurance advice and guidance to personal lines, Affinity and Small Commercial Clients
  • Identifies specific client risk exposure and develops and presents innovative coverage solutions in support of existing/new business growth targets
  • Established account specific service plans and delivery approaches which support coverage solutions and provide continued opportunity for Aon product/service exposure
  • Service clients by developing and managing client relationships/expectations in order to increase penetration sales and nurture new business opportunities
  • Answers the phone queue coverage 100% of the time
  • Analyzes client specific risk exposure and details coverage requirements. Prepares and presents marketing proposals for renewals and new business
  • Negotiates with underwriters to establish the best terms and conditions with respect to premiums and coverage
  • Follows up with insurer(s) to confirm terms of negotiated contract are met
  • Approves documentation for new contracts, policy changes, additions, deletions and renewals
  • Establishes contacts and nurtures relationships within the underwriting community in an effort to achieve the best rates and coverage for Aon Clients
  • Develops coverage strategy and marketing initiatives for renewal and prospective business
  • Reviews and approves applicable insurance documentation
  • Acquiring new business through existing clients, client referrals, targeted campaign and Aon client network and placement with appropriate insurance market
  • Responds to client inquiries either by telephone or by email
  • provides direction when a claim is reported or inquired upon
  • Reviews application information and referring to Insurers where appropriate
  • Performing other related duties as the need arises
You Bring Knowledge and ExpertiseRequirements:
  • Minimum 3+ years of prior personal lines experience;
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel ,Powerpoint, & Outlook;
  • Ability to coordinate and lead various tasks;
  • Must have the ability to communicate and work with people in a fast paced environment;
  • A sales & service attitude and the ability to work in a team environment are also requirements of this role;
  • Work outside of the normal hours of operation may be required.
  • EPIC systems knowledge, an asset
  • Knowledge of Aviva & Intact products and services, an asset;
Education:
  • College Diploma/University Degree or equivalent years of industry experience;
  • Personal and Commercial Brokers insurance courses and license (AMF).
