Job Description

Photo Production AssistantWe are seeking a collaborative Photo Production Assistant to support the Creative Services team in the creation of lifestyle food photography. You will be working across all our brands and product categories. The studio and open kitchen are a dynamic and collaborative space where you will work with other cross functional teams. You will be required to assist in maintaining the production shoot calendar and provide regular updates to the team. Collaborate with your cross functional teammates to assure samples, briefs, and props are all in place in advance of the shoot day. On the shoot day you will be assisting with food prep, styling, lighting, and cleanup. Once you are fully onboarded with our brand guidelines, you will also be given the opportunity to style, shoot and post produce images used for our product boxes and digital content.Responsibilities:

  • Support Creative Services by maintaining the production calendar, set up in our shared software program, so that deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teammates to track samples and assure shoot briefs are available.
  • Review shoot briefs for food requirements / recipes and prepare grocery lists. Assure the props needed are available and in good condition.
  • Stage the next day / week shoot in the staging area.
  • Assist on shoot day by assisting with food prep, styling, lighting, and end of day clean up.
  • Assure all post-production is filed and the team requiring them is alerted of their completion.
  • Help with post-production and grocery shopping when needed.
  • In some cases, you will be asked to style, shoot and post produce your own creative images
  • Assist with any departmental tasks or special projects
Qualifications:
  • 1-2 year’s experience in a creative deadline driven environment, food industry a plus
  • Ability to physically lift/move 10lb to assist with equipment
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a proven track record multi-tasking in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Pro-active self-starter, disciplined, solution-oriented, and collaborative
  • Bachelor’s degree or secondary degree a plus
  • Knowledgeable in studio photos.
  • Basic Knowledge in Photoshop and Excel is a plus
  • Ability to drive and access to a car for groceries
