Job Description

You’re advisory-minded and have experience with the digital transformation of product development and supply chain. You are honing your Consulting & Strategy skills to help clients see where they stand today, what challenges and technology trends they face, and what new opportunities are theirs for the taking. You’re also comfortable working closely with Accenture and client teams supporting the sales process from origination to closing.The work:

  • Provide Technical- and Domain-Expertise on complex projects.
  • Participate in requirements gathering and specifications creation.
  • Participate in the technical design, supporting the technical architect.
  • Development: configure the applications based on the functional and technical design.
  • Deployment / Implementation: Diagnose and resolve defects. Contribute to, and prepare, implementation plan details. Execute the implementation plan.
  • Documentation: Document the configuration and architecture.
  • Validation Tests: Conduct unit testing and functional and integration testing, including preparation of test cases/scenarios and test data.
  • Maintenance: Analyze, design and produce solution enhancements.
  • Coaching of workstream team(s).
  • Successfully supporting the management team in different project workstreams.
  • Programming: Write new, or modify existing, process extension based on physical design and/or programming specifications. This includes documenting the code.
  • Reporting: Progress status and issues
Here’s what you need:
  • 3+ years of professional experience programming with Windchill or other PTC products, including
  • 3+ years of professional experience programming with JAVA
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related degree
Bonus points if:
  • API development
  • Systems Implementation methodology knowledge (Agile Methodology, Waterfall)
  • Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering concepts and solutions
  • Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts and solutions
  • (PLM) PTC Windchill, PDMLink, ProjectLink and MPMLink
  • (PLM) Integration experience with other enterprise applications like SAP / Salesforce ERP, etc. using Tibco, WebSphere, SOA, or other enterprise application integration solutions
  • (PLM) Windchill Bulk Migration and/or Data integration experience
  • Able to comfortably manage multiple tasks, communicate status, escalate issues and juggle competing priorities
  • Strong team player with a “can do” attitude, and the flexibility to jump in wherever needed
  • Self-starter with a bias toward action and the ability to produce results
  • Team management experience
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
