La traduction devra s’effectuer de l’anglais au Chinois traditionnel et une grande partie de la rédaction sera accomplie sur des textes déjà rédigés en Chinois Traditionnel. Adaptability and flexibility, as well as the ability to make effective use of all available resources, are key to this role. The texts to be translated will be from English into Traditional Chinese, and there is a substantial amount of editing to be done on texts already written in Traditional Chinese. • Baccalauréat en littérature, traduction ou équivalent
• Expérience en traduction
• Bilingue (Chinois-Anglais parlé/écrit)
• Excellentes aptitudes à communiquer et à apprécier les subtilités de la langue et de la grammaire
• Créatif et apte à prendre des initiatives seul ou en équipe
• Apte à effectuer un travail précis sous pression et à gérer la charge de travail en fonction des différents échéanciers
• Excellente connaissance de la suite Microsoft Office
• Une troisième langue (Allemand, Espagnol, Italien ou Français) est un atout
• La connaissance des jeux vidéo et/ou des technologies téléphoniques mobiles est un atout

Compétences et profil

• Le candidat sera de langue maternelle chinoise et devra être capable de produire des traductions adaptées au marché taïwanais.
• Le candidat devra aimer tester des jeux vidéo sur une base quotidienne.

***Requirements

• BA in literature, translation or equivalent
• Prior experience in translation
• Bilingual (Chinese-English spoken/written)
• Excellent communication skills and an appreciation for the subtleties of language and grammar
• Creative and able to take initiative working independently or within a team
• Able to do precise, accurate work under pressure, and prioritise work load in order to meet varying deadlines
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Third language (German, Spanish, Italian or French) an asset
• Familiarity with video games and/or wireless technology an asset

Skills and Profile

• The candidate will be a native Chinese speaker who can produce translations tailored for the Taiwanese market.
• Must like testing video games on a daily basis.
