This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set to join the Claims and Dispute Resolution team, whose responsibilities extend beyond those of traditional Claim Consultants. The ideal person for this role will need to not only have a strong grasp of scheduling and schedule review, but also be flexible and a strategic thinker able to take on a variety of tasks.This position firs a professional who has knowledge and experience with Construction schedules, critical path scheduling analysis, schedules audit and review as well as Oracle Primavera and MS Project software.Responsibilities:

  • Review and audit construction schedules
  • Manipulate schedule with resource and cost information
  • Create schedules and monitoring these schedules to determine their impact on the master schedule
  • Evaluate construction progress and provide regular schedule updates
  • Identify warnings, problems or conflicts in the project schedule
  • Analyze monthly schedules and prepare reports for the purpose of dispute resolution
  • Analyze, compare, manipulate schedules and create spreadsheets for the purpose of delay analysis
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Office - Advanced skills preferred
  • Construction related experience
  • Thorough experience within construction scheduling
  • Project controls knowledge and experience is an asset
  • Scheduling software - Microsoft Projects/Primavera Products
  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management or an Engineering discipline such as Structural, Civil, Electrical, MEP etc.
  • Experience with an engineering or construction firms, or a construction claim/dispute firm is an asset
  • Proficiency in English and French (written and spoken)
  • Member of Order of Engineers of Quebec, possessing P.Eng. or equivalent preferred
  • Member of Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) possessing engineering license preferred

  • Teamwork: Works well within a team of other professionals
  • Quality of Work: Has strong work ethic, taking care to produce accurate work. Has mechanisms in place to check work and ensure the quality of work being produced is accurate and timely
