SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR & COMMUNITY MANAGER (remote)soNomad, a fast-growing Insurtech company that provides innovative travel insurance products for modern-day travelers. ​​Our goal is to make travel insurance accessible, affordable, and easy to use.What you’re applying for:We are currently seeking a bilingual Social Media Coordinator/Community Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in building a strong online presence and driving customer acquisition through a creative and innovative approach to engaging with audiences about travel & insurance topics. As the Social Media Coordinator/Community Manager, your main responsibilities will include creating and executing content strategies across various social media platforms, building, and maintaining relationships with our online community, and helping to drive customer acquisition. This is a fully remote position.Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and execute the content strategy plan developed by the Digital Marketing Manager that aligns with the brands tone and voice and resonates with the target audience.
  • Create visually appealing and engaging social media and video content (in French and in English) for consumer-facing platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Create concise and informative content (in French and in English) for corporate audiences on platforms like Twitter and LinkedIn.
  • Pursue specific objectives to ensure traffic and growth targets are met and report on ROI.
  • Monitor SEO, hashtags from the different platforms, and web traffic metrics.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, questions, and complaints on social media platforms to maintain a positive brand reputation and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain relationships with the brands social media followers, engaging with them in a positive and authentic way to foster community and brand loyalty.
  • Stay up to date on social media trends, digital technologies, and best practices to inform and improve social media strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in marketing, Communication, Digital Marketing, New Media or a relevant field
  • 2+ years of experience in social media and content creation (preferably in the travel industry)
  • Excellent copywriting skills (proficiency in both French and English)
  • A passion for travelling and exploring different cultures and countries with knowledge of travel trends, popular destinations, and travel-related topics.
  • An obsession with creating impactful social media and video content is a must.
  • Expertise and knowledge of best practices for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, and design software (e.g., Canva)
  • Experience with a content management system (e.g., WordPress, Webflow)
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Exceptional time-management and organizational skills
  • A keen eye for details
