If you’re interested in copywriting, translating and languages and have a passion for online fashion, this position is for you!The French web copywriter will work closely with the Senior translator and language specialist, and will report to the Assistant merchandising manager. The copywriter will be responsible for writing French product descriptions and SEO content on the website. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Copywriting and translating (EN-FR) product descriptions daily for the website
• Copywriting and translating Search Engine Optimization content and updating the website
• Collaboration with other copywriters for products and search results
• Collaboration with the senior translator for consistent Brand TOV on all platforms
• QA the website daily (making sure there are no mistakes or errors on products and associated texts)
• Keep a running lexicon of French-English terms related to products each season
• Other related responsibilities and projects as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Bachelor’s, certification or degree in Translation or Languages required
• Studies and experience in French literature an asset
• 100% bilingual in English and French (oral and written) required
• Experience in translation, editing, and/or proofreading (English and French) required
• Clear and concise communication skills, with an ability to tailor messages across channels
• Experience with translation software an asset
• Understanding of fashion or product description writing is an asset
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in translation, interpretation, or localization in Quebec from English to French
• SEO knowledge is an asset
