Job Description

Come join our amazing growing and dynamic team at Gloss Ventures! We are looking to bring on an account manager who is passionate about Beauty and Wellness products and industry to our sales team. You will lead and support our global existing and new customers and sales brokers across our 5+ growing brands. We are looking for someone to build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with customers and brokers, always striving to grow sales, collaborate with internal teams on customer needs and gaps, and creatively problem solve the needs of customers. You will also aid internal departments by forecasting, inventory planning, accounting/finance support on your sales accounts, customer marketing needs, and identifying industry trends.To succeed in this position, candidates should be a self-starter and have exceptional communication, computer, and problem-solving skills. You should be resourceful, dynamic, flexible, analytical, adaptable, and organized with the ability to build rapport with clients.Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Retains customer volume, sales, and profitability with customer accounts
  • Penetrates accounts by: Selling new or additional products or services to current buyers, Finding additional buyers within the existing customers; and Selling additional customer locations.
  • Leads all aspects of the sales process, calling upon others to assist in solution development and proposal delivery, as needed, or as directed by management.
  • Directs joint customer planning efforts in accounts.
  • Communicating with clients to understand their needs and explain product value.
  • Building relationships with clients based on trust and respect.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to facilitate client need fulfillment.
  • Keeping accurate records pertaining to inventory and account notes.
  • Maintaining updated knowledge of company products and services.
  • Identifying industry trends.
Account Manager Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, communications, or related field.
  • More education or experience may be preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collect, track, and analyze large amounts of data.
  • Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent active listening skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally.
  • Understanding of consumer behaviors and industry trends.
  • Extensive, accurate product knowledge.
