Red Lake is known for its natural beauty, abundant wildlife, and incredible Canadian fishing in the many freshwater lakes in the area. The Red Lake district is located 180 kilometers north of Dryden about 100 kilometers from the Manitoba border in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. It spans 42,000 hectares and has produced over 29 million ounces of gold since 1949. Our Red Lake Operation includes underground mining and processing complexes in Balmertown and Cochenour, as well as the Bateman Project. As Evolution’s newest asset and our first in North America, we are excited by the opportunities here.About the roleThe Advisor - Training role offers an exceptional opportunity to provide training for basic and specialty Common Core.Key result areas in this role include:Provide training for mill process operations/underground operationsDeliver in-house training programs (e.g., forklift, bobcat, fall protection, confined spaces, gas monitors, etc.).Organize, draft, and facilitate training programs as requiredAct as a resource for surface operations on matters involving health and safetyAbout youAs an Advisor – Training, you will have a Secondary School Diploma. It is also important that you have/ can demonstrate:Must be certified in Ontario Common Core and possess Train the Trainer accreditationDemonstrated experience in mill processing/underground operations/surface opeartionsOutstanding verbal communication skills and ability to teach others by transferring knowledgeSolid understanding of mine training requirementsFamiliar with Occupational Health and Safety Act and Mining RegulationsStrong decision – making, problem solving, and prioritizing skillsGood working knowledge of computer systems, specifically Microsoft productsPositive attitude, a self starter, and is results orientedClosing date: Open until filledWe thank you for taking the time to submit your application.
