The Red Lake district is located 180 kilometers north of Dryden about 100 kilometers from the Manitoba border in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. It spans 42,000 hectares and has produced over 29 million ounces of gold since 1949. Our Red Lake Operation includes underground mining and processing complexes in Balmertown and Cochenour, as well as the Bateman Project. As Evolution’s newest asset and our first in North America, we are excited by the opportunities here.About the roleThe Mill Operator role offers an exceptional opportunity to safely start up, operate and shutdown all equipment within your area of responsibility. Key result areas in this role include:Troubleshoot and correct problems within your area of responsibilityPartake in training upgrades if requiredConduct general clean-up throughout the circuit, reporting potential safety hazards and production problems to the Lead Hand/SupervisorWork in a healthy work environment with full support, cooperation and commitment to satisfy our operation’s goal of being accident-freePerform other duties as assigned by department leadAbout youAs a Mill Operator, you will have a Secondary School Diploma.
