Manager of Nursing PayrollTemporary Full-time until 31 December 2023, with possible extensionCorner Brook, NLWestern Health currently requires a Manager of Nursing Payroll in the Finance Department on a temporary basis at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL. This position is accountable for ensuring that assigned employee attendance records are accurately completed for the purpose of bi-weekly payroll processing. The work is performed in a consistent manner in accordance with Western Health policies and in compliance with respective collective agreements. The successful applicant must be a capable communicator and collaborator while promoting innovative improvement, accountability, and professional ethics. The Manager must possess and maintain knowledge of current relevant legislation and payroll best practices. Such a person would normally have a relevant degree and payroll designation. They would have at least five years of relevant payroll and management experience and have a track record of progressively demanding positions in the field. The desired person would demonstrate exceptional analytical and conceptual skills along with effective abilities in developing/implementing appropriate policies/procedures. Knowledge and experience with the Meditech Payroll and related modules, as well as Western Healths timekeeping program is highly desirable.
