Job Description

Role Summary:The Product Leader will oversee and direct all activities for the Nuclear global product portfolio and associated accessories worldwide. In so doing they will:The Product Leader will be the CEO of its product and will define global strategies to drive growth and profitability for the products and services within target markets. The Product Leader will also be responsible for translating and commercializing those strategies into actionable investments including New Product Development (R&D), New technology development, Sales & Marketing Tools, New Sales Channels, Customer Marketing (MarComm), Strategic Sourcing, Pricing strategy, Manufacturing strategy, Equipment upgrades, Mergers & Acquisitions, Divestitures, etc and should also actively support the desalination sales and commercial operations teams in active quotation processes including trainings and presentations.In so doing, the Product Leader will be responsible for leading multiple cross-functional virtual teams through influencing skills that deliver the associated payback.Main Accountabilities:

  • Managing the total product lifecycle
  • Create product line strategies to drive increased profitability within target markets and Translate them into actionable product/service roadmaps with associated investment plans
  • Lead, own, and execute all investments associated with product/service roadmaps.
  • Using effective Voice of the Customer to drive continuous improvements, competitive differentiation, and development
  • Plan and execute the product launches to market of new product developments leading the marketing and collateral associated as well as the promotional strategy.
  • Identifying new applications / markets for existing products.
  • Product rationalization to optimize portfolio and minimize proliferation
  • Ensure we have a compelling modern feature competitive product available Identifying and applying new technologies to provide differentiation and drive a premium for our offering
  • Partner with stakeholders to execute and implement the investments to achieve the intended payback
  • Develop commercial and business models to support growth targets
  • Lead and drive specific regional (localization / globalization) initiatives in collaboration with other product leaders.
  • Refresh product strategies systematically to reflect changing market conditions
  • Drive market penetration for the product
  • Act as subject matter expert internally and externally with detailed product and application knowledge
  • Reporting of product metrics to ELT and on a quarterly basis to the global organization.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
  • 5-10+ years in heavy industry equipment that spans multiple industries (e.g. Oil & Gas, Power, Chemical, or General Industries).
  • Nuclear Professional background and/or experience is required. (ASME and/or RCCM)
  • (4) Year business or engineering degree required (Mechanical, Chemical, Manufacturing or Electrical), MBA and/or Advanced Engineering degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Engineering, Sales, Commercial operations,Product Management, and/or Marketing of engineered products positions related to nuclear products.
  • Strong influencing skills with demonstrated ability to create, inspire, and lead virtual teams that deliver results
  • Proven project management experience with history of successful project completion and payback
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Experience in a multinational company
  • Bilingual strongly preferred
  • 25-50% Travel required
