  • The SHE Trainer supports the Mulgrave employees through designing, implementing, and facilitating of training programs that align with the business’s strategic initiatives.
  • Routinely reports to the operations and management team on training compliance; keep and report data on completed courses, absences, issues, etc.; Report on progress of employees under guidance during training periods.
  • Responsible for coaching and training all DSM employees, resident contractors, and others as needed in day-to-day SHE aspects, including Life Saving Rules and Behavioral standards.
  • Contributes to the design, development and productions of training materials, documents and manuals to ensure consistency and quality of content and delivery to meet the specific needs to the training program.
  • Works with HR Advisor/SHE Coordinator/Managers/Supervisors to identify the training requirements tailored to the business needs and individual PDP’s; translates those requirements into training that will groom employees for the next steps of their career path.
  • Monitors activities of site employees and contractors to ensure training credible and applicable to the target audience.
You bring:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting with a SHE cantered background
  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills. Self-starter, professional and dependable.
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field or discipline; equivalent work experience would be considered
  • Training and/or SHE related certification would be considered an asset
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have strong organizational and attention to detail skills and the ability to follow through on tasks and projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure, able to multi-task and is results-oriented.
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office Apps and other digital tools
